  • First leg:
  • round 1: 10sc in MR (10)
  • round 2: (4sc, 1 inc) x 2 (12)
  • round 3: (5 sc 1 inc) x 2 (14)
  • round 4-5: 14sc (14)
  • round 6: (6sc, 1inc) x 2 (16), slip stitch into the next stitch and fasten off.
  • Second leg:
  • round 1: 10sc in MR (10)

  • round 30: 32sc (32) Insert eyes, I used 8 mm between the rounds 24-25, around 8 rounds apart. Nose and muzzle: as per the picture, below the round n. 23 Start stuffing, stuff as you go.

  • Slip stitch into the next stitch and finish off. Fold the ears, they don’t need stuffing, but pay attention to shaping them to resemble these on the picture. Attach the ear(s) between rounds 29-32, align with the eyes like on the picture.
  • Heart (red yarn)
  • In MR ch 3, 2 tr, 2dc, 1 tr, 2dc, 2tr, 2ch and sl st into the MR; pull the yarn and tighten both yarn ends together at the back of the heart then attach the heart to the bear’s body at the height of the arm.
  • Rose (pink yarn, or any other colour you prefer)
  • round 1: ch 24
  • round 2: skip 1 ch, 4tr into the 2nd chain, sl st into the next ch, 4tr in the 4th ch, sl st into the next one, 4tr into the 6th ch, sl st into the next one, 4 tr into the 8th st, sl st into the next one, 4dc into the 10th st, sl st into the next one, 4dc into the 12th st, sl st into the next one, 4dc into the 14th st, sl st into the next one, 4dc into the 16th st, sl st into the next one, 4sc into the 18th st, sl st into the next one, 4sc into the 20th st, sl st into the next one, 4sc into the 22nd st, sl st into the next one, ch1
  • Put the petals together sew it together to shape it into a rose.
